Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 14 May 2026

1. About these terms

These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to all quotes, installations and services provided by Loft Logic Solutions ("we", "us", "our") and to your use of www.loftlogicsolutions.co.uk. By requesting a quote, accepting a quote, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

We are an independent loft boarding company based in Essex, United Kingdom. You can contact us at loftlogicsolutions@gmail.com or 07587 226503.

2. Quotes and pricing

Quotes are based on the information you provide and, where applicable, an on-site survey. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless stated otherwise. Prices include VAT where applicable and the materials and labour described in the quote.

If conditions on site differ materially from what was described (for example trussed rafters, existing damaged insulation, restricted access, electrical works required), we will discuss any change in scope or price with you before proceeding.

3. Booking, deposits and payment

A booking is confirmed once you accept the quote in writing (email or text) and, where requested, pay the agreed deposit. The balance is due on completion of the installation unless agreed otherwise in writing.

We accept bank transfer and card payments. Late payments may incur interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where applicable.

4. Cancellations and your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel an off-premises contract within 14 days without giving a reason. To cancel, contact us in writing at loftlogicsolutions@gmail.com.

If you ask us to start work within the 14-day cancellation period and then cancel, you may be required to pay for work already carried out and materials already ordered or used.

5. Installation, access and your responsibilities

You agree to provide safe, reasonable access to the loft, a suitable power supply, and to clear the area below the loft hatch on the day of installation. We will treat your property with care and clean up after ourselves.

We are not responsible for pre-existing defects (for example damaged ceilings, undersized joists, faulty wiring, asbestos or pest activity). If we discover such issues we will pause work and agree next steps with you.

6. Guarantee

Our raised loft boarding installations are covered by a lifetime workmanship guarantee for the original homeowner, covering defects in our installation. Manufacturer warranties (for example on LoftLeg components, ladders and lighting) apply in addition.

The guarantee does not cover damage caused by overloading, third-party modifications, structural movement of the building, water ingress, or fair wear and tear.

7. Liability

We carry public liability insurance. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Subject to that, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any installation is limited to the price paid for that installation. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

8. Use of our website

The content on this website is provided for general information about our services. You may not copy, reproduce or republish any part of it for commercial purposes without our written consent. We make reasonable efforts to keep the site accurate and available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Privacy

Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Governing law and complaints

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at loftlogicsolutions@gmail.com so we can put things right.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your installation is the one in force on the date you accepted your quote. The latest version is always published on this page.
